Having had Dr. Milne and Staff’s assistance has been a true life saver. It started as a routine trip to the dentist and ended up as emergency cancer intervention with a happy outcome. Due to Dr. Milne’s interest in her patient’s and keen observation, she discovered a lesion (open sore) on my tongue. At that time she recommended that I immediately see an oral surgeon. The diagnosis was Stage Four tongue and neck cancer. Dr. Milne’s assistance was invaluable and just in time. Two operations, Chemo and radiation therapy and I am cancer free.

As a new patient, I had my first appointment with you yesterday and wanted to express
how thankful I am to have finally found a terrific dentist and staff in the Tampa Bay area. I was very impressed not only with your professionalism and thoroughness, but also with your patience and bedside manner. As I informed you during my visit, I hadn't seen a dentist in a couple of years because of a bad experience with another dentist. Although healthy teeth and gums are extremely important to me, the effort to find a good dentist whom I felt comfortable with was wearing on me. All that changed when I walked into your once! Gretchen was very helpful in getting me set up with your practice, and took the time to answer several questions. Patricia then guided me to the chair where she did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth as well as providing much needed advice about my brushing habits. She read my mouth as I would a newspaper, and every assumption she made with regard to my eating, drinking, and brushing habits were right on the money. Just when I thought things couldn't get any better, I met you. Although it certainly seemed as if you were particularly busy that day, you gave me a very thorough exam and did not leave my side until you had answered all of my questions. I especially appreciated the advice on the crown versus inlay issue we discussed in depth. Dr. Hitzel, I am extremely grateful to have found your practice. You and your entire staff are to be complimented for running such a wonderful once. It certainly comforts me to know that my smile is now in great hands!
